The Oak Leaf bridge over Capitol Drive is gone.
It looks so different.
I’m really worried that they’re planning to replace the bridge with a street-level crosswalk-and-lights crossing for the Oak Leaf here, which would significantly slow down a lot of my riding.

Bikes outside Sendik’s. We rode from Hales Corners to 124th and North Ave on the Oak Leaf’s western half and the Root River Parkway. And that was after I rode from the Fifth Ward to Hales Corners. It was a long day, totaling roughly 41 miles on my bike.
If you remember last year’s Mondays-in-Milwaukee Ride, this is the same ride with a new name and some new faces. We meet at AJ Bombers (1241 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI) on Mondays, 5-6PM to meet and eat, then we ride 6-8PM before returning back to AJ Bombers for drinks and camaraderie.
